  • Free Teacher Professional Development- We offer free teacher professional development through The Brain Breakthrough around dyslexia. The goal is to equip teachers with an understanding of what dyslexia is, how it impact 1/5 students in their classroom, and provide simple tools they can use to support their students.   • Free Parent Informational Meetings-We offer free Parent Informational Meetings for parents who are interested in learning more about dyslexia. We use this time to help parents understand what dyslexia is, the many different ways it can impact children, and provide practical steps both in the home and at school that parents can take.   • Oregon Branch of the International Dyslexia Association: A resource for both parents and teachers to learn about dyslexia and get connected with their local chapter.
  • Decoding Dyslexia: Provides support for families and kids with dyslexia
  • Learning Ally: Provides an online library of audio books for kids and adults
  • Understood: A community of non-profits that provide online resources and practical tips for parents and families
  • Shine Learning Services: A Portland based non-profit that helps to assess, assist, and advocate for people of all ages with dyslexia.
